Time for another update on whether we get to play or not this season!
At the moment, the season is still suspended until August 1st. However, there have been some murmurings that junior and recreational cricket could return before then.
With this in mind, last Friday we gave the wicket a good roll and managed to do our pre season maintenance work on the ground. Many thanks to Jed, Akshay, David and Sachin.
Now for the good news:
We are now able to play some cricket, all be it in no more than groups of 6. Therefore, from Thursday we will have a net session from 7pm to 9pm – weather permitting, of course. In keeping with the guidelines, people will need to sign up to take part.
