On the eve of his 50th Birthday, Akshay successfully marshalled the unruly mob to victory. On a hot sultry afternoon, our top order battled the pitch conditions really well to enable a competitive total of 238, despite an England style collapse! Paul with 88, Alex with an enterprising 52 and Gaurav 46 did the bulk of the scoring. Ley Hill provided a spirited reply but Bois were really good in the field, with everyone switched on despite the heat. Matt (8-3-30-1) and Luke (8-3-18-1) combined for a tight start to the bowling, followed by excellent spells by Peter (8-1-29-1), Vish (7-0-41-1) and Gaurav (3-0-19-0). David (4-0-34-2) got the wickets with a fantastic return juggling catch! Great all-round team effort for a pleasing win!
