After another eventful game against Chiltern Warriors the match petered out to a draw, with bad light and rain making conditions a little too slippy to continue. Winning the toss and batting, Paul(14) and Alex(12) got us off to a steady start. Alok made a handy debut in his 24 but backbone of our innings was provided by Uma(95) and Gaurav(110). Together they worked the score up towards 300 with Senthi(12 no) and Bennett(3) nudging us up to 309 off 40 overs, a very handy score.

Chiltern Warriors are usually a good batting side and, true to form, they set off at a handy pace. Sajid (8-0-64-1) and Vinoth(4-0-42-1) were the first to try and contain and denude their batting lineup. Uma(5-0-29-1) and Alok(4-0-27-0) exerted a degree of control, while Gaurav(8-0-49-2), Prakash(2-0-20-0) and Senthil (3-0-29-0) all had a go at their batsmen, but the Warriors were always up with the rate and handily placed when at 275-6 off 34 overs when the final rain break made conditions too unsafe to continue.

4th wicket partnership of 202 between Uma and Guarav was the second highest for that wicket.
