Toss: C&L elected to bowl.

Having lost the toss and been put into bat, Alex (17) and Paul (31) got us off to a good brisk start. Gaurav (61) joined Paul and we had 90 on the board by the time Paul departed. Some late boundaries by Jamien (10) and Ben (11) got us to 170-8 in our 40 overs.

In reply, Chenies and Latimer were quickly in trouble with our opening pair Luke (1 for 23) and Jamien with a career best 5 for 16, leaving them 6 down for 41 during their opening spell. Kugan, Ben, Peter and Akshay mopped up the rest leaving them 106 all out in the 34th over.

In a very tidy fielding display, unusually, all 10 wickets fell to catches with Peter snapping up 5 including an over the shoulder catch during a flat out sprint towards the long off boundary, equalling the club record for the most catches taken by a fielder in a match. I say unusual as not only were all 10 wickets catches, but also that we managed to take 10 catches. Good effort !
